Life throws up many challenges and difficulties. Here at Grow2BeCounselling I can help you take those first steps and make sense of what maybe troubling you so that gradually you feel happier, more positive and empowered.
To help you grow into who you want to be.
From personal and professional experience, I understand the positives and the negatives of life that my clients face. It can be hard opening up to friends and family, you might feel alone in your thoughts and feel that you have no-one to turn to. As a therapist, I'll give you the time and space to be heard as well as give you the opportunity to talk through these difficult emotions. It can feel scary seeking out counselling but as many of my clients have found, it can be amazing in gradually helping you understand yourself better and to become empowered to make positive changes in your life.
I believe counselling is for everyone. I'm passionate about my work as a therapist and my experience working with adults and young people means I have encountered and worked with them on a wide range of issues. I always work with a caring and non-judgemental approach.
I've worked with a diverse range of people with a variety of issues whether it be anxiety, depression, stress, loss, loneliness or low self-esteem. You might not be even be sure what's troubling you. When you come to see me, we'll work together collaboratively and you'll be given the safe, confidential space to explore how you are feeling.
I offer counselling to couples whether you want to stay together or whether you're unsure you want to continue. Relationships can be complicated and it may be that you need another perspective on how you engage and communicate with each other.
Having worked with children and young people for over twenty years, I'm passionate about helping them with developing their confidence and self- belief. Issues around bullying, exam worries, relationships as well as social media are some of the areas I've worked creatively and collaboratively to support young people with their mental and emotional well-being.
