Counselling in Manchester, Chorlton & Online
I'm a qualified counsellor
and member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I follow their ethical guidelines and receive regular supervision myself and attend training to ensure that you receive the safe and caring therapy you need. I'm passionate about helping others with their self-care and well-being and having received therapy myself in the past, know the importance of looking after our mental health and developing emotional resilience.
As well as my private practice, I also work as a counsellor in the Manchester region for the NHS and for Relate. Working as a mental health practitioner in the charities section for Place2Be and Relax Kids has also given me great insight into the issues that children and young people face with their mental health. My experiences working with young and old from all demographics and diverse backgrounds has helped me shape how I provide my therapeutic services and support those who are in need.
I find a good way to relax is taking my beautiful 'furbaby' pooch Penny for walks and park runs as well as participating in yoga nidra and the gorgeous sounds of gong spas!
